[President Blog] July 21-22, 2024 (climb Mt. Fuji)

　久しぶりに大きいことを成し遂げた。登頂である。そして今まで見たこともない真っ赤な太陽を拝めた。感無量だ。
It's been a long time since I accomplished something big. It is a summit. And I was able to see the bright red sun that I had never seen before. I'm overwhelmed with emotion.
　準備はもちろん必要だが、気力と体力の充実を図らなければ成し遂げられない偉業である。
Of course, preparation is necessary, but it is a feat that cannot be accomplished unless you are mentally and physically fit.

大切なのは、プロセス
What's important is the process

　富士登山を終えて、毎年思うのは、大切なのはプロセス（過程）であると言うことだ。登れた、登れないは時の運です。体調の良い時もあれば悪い時もある。悪天候もあれば今回のような好天もある。ご来光を見るだけならテレビで見れば良い。
Every year after climbing Mt. Fuji, I think that what is important is the process. Whether you were able to climb or not is a matter of luck. There are times when I feel good and times when I feel bad. There are bad weather and there are good weather like this one. If you just want to see the sunrise, just watch it on TV.
　先ずは、挑戦したこと、挑んだことに敬意を表する。最初から行かないと決めないで、挑もうと思う心理的プロセスは尊い。
First of all, I would like to express my respect for taking on the challenge. The psychological process of deciding to take on a challenge without deciding from the beginning that you have to go is precious.

　そして体力、気力を整えたこと、これに敬意を表する。数ヶ月前に決まった日程に対して、自分の気力体力を向けて行く、それが富士登山の醍醐味である。
I would also like to express my respect for his physical strength and mental strength. The real pleasure of climbing Mt. Fuji is putting all your energy, energy and energy into a schedule that has been decided several months in advance.

　さて、最後は登山の過程だ。私たちはプロだから、できればサポートする側に回りたい。サポートするのではなくサポートするのだ。その一足が自己実現のプロセスである。お互いが助け合い、支え合い、励まし合った！　感動した。
