成人式は僕にとって格別だ。
Coming-of-age ceremonies are special to me.

2浪していて、僕に成人式は無かった（センター試験がありました）。実は成人式だけは本当にショックで、友達にも会えないし、背広も作らなかったし、写真も無い。2ヶ月後に北海道教育大学函館校に受かるのだが、成人式の日（当時は1月15日と決まっていた）は、電車に乗って移動しなければなりませんでした。
There was no coming-of-age ceremony for me (I was taking a National Center Test then).Actually, I was really shocked that I couldn't attend the coming-of-age ceremony, I couldn't see my friends, I didn't make a suit, and I don't have any photos.Two months later, I was accepted to Hokkaido University of Education Hakodate Campus, but I had to move to take the test by train on the coming-of-age ceremony (which at that time was scheduled for January 15th).

さて、リベンジの話。 息子が同じ2浪の道を歩んだが、見事に切り抜けて、今日は成人式でした。今回だけは、おめでとう。 俺は心から嬉しいから背広を買い与えた。
Now, let's talk about revenge.My son walked the same way like me, but he made it through beautifully, and today was his coming-of-age ceremony. Congratulations just this time. I was so happy that I bought him a suit.
